Cambodia: to learn from the successful experience of the construction and management of China's toilet revolution

On August 3, Tang Kun, Minister of tourism of Cambodia, who came to Xi'an, Shaanxi Province to attend the 2017 Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Expo, praised the Chinese toilet revolution. He said that China's toilet revolution has had a positive impact in the world and has become an important "window" to show the image of Chinese civilization. Cambodia will come to learn from the successful experience of China's toilet revolution in construction and management.

As one of the ASEAN countries, Cambodia strictly implements the standards of public toilets in ASEAN, and has made efforts to actively improve the facilities and sanitary environment of public toilets, Tang said. However, in order to better improve the tourism environment and make a good impression on foreign tourists and domestic residents, he hopes to come to China to learn from the experience, deeply understand the practical practice of China's efforts in toilet revolution, and apply China's outstanding achievements in toilet construction, technological innovation, management improvement and civilized toilet use in Cambodia's toilet construction and management.

Since the start of the toilet revolution in China in early 2015, all regions have attached great importance to it and responded to it in succession, taking the toilet revolution as a basic project, a civilized project and a livelihood project. Up to now, more than 90% of the three-year action plan of toilet revolution has been completed in the whole country. It is expected that 71000 toilets will be completed by the end of 2017, which will exceed the three-year action plan of toilet revolution. In the past three years, the Chinese toilet revolution in full swing has attracted the attention of mainstream media in the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, India and other countries, and has been reported one after another.
